As the Senior Manager of Finance for our flagship manufacturing site in Logan, Utah (
recent expansion in Ogden, Utah), you will partner with the site's Manufacturing Leader, and the broader Site Leadership Team, to deliver on the site's strategic priorities. You will craft ambitious and achievable financial goals for the site. And you will collaborate across functions to achieve the site's growth and profitability objectives. Your expertise and guidance will position the site to employ over one-thousand colleagues and output hundreds of millions of dollars of annual revenue, in support of critical global health initiatives. Responsibilities:
Partner with the site leadership team to achieve monthly and quarterly financial commitments, with an emphasis on growth and profitability. Provide financial oversight, reporting, and strategic guidance for large scale capacity investments. Lead the monthly financial closing and reporting process. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting prepared in accordance with US GAAP. Partner with General Accounting, Cost Accounting & Shared Services Accounting to ensure financial results are accurate and aligned with company policies Analyze and approve significant transactions such as expense items, capex purchases, inventory write-offs and expense reimbursements. Review and analyze the financial results for the Site, provide concise explanations and support for deviations to financial forecasts and effectively communicate risks and opportunities timely to upper management as well as the Site management team. Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) and standard product costing projects. Conduct detailed analysis on core operational accounts:
absorption, work order variance, purchase price variance, direct labor, direct material, and overhead costs. Drive continuous improvements to department procedures and processes to improve efficiency. Provide financial leadership and representation related to software implementations and other I.T. related projects, including the site ERP strategy. Experience with Oracle R12 is preferred. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance or accounting 8
years of professional experience in Corporate Finance & Accounting, with a demonstrated emphasis on Manufacturing Operations Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong leadership, management, and teamwork skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Detail oriented and possess good analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to handle multiple projects concurrently, and be driven to meet deadlines as required. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
