Senior Manager of Accounting
This role requires a highly skilled Senior Manager of Accounting with a strong background in operational accounting and a deep understanding of US GAAP.
• Apply extensive knowledge of US GAAP to support accurate financial reporting, working closely with auditors and providing technical accounting guidance to the Finance and Accounting team.
• Collaborate with the Controller to produce timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, including disclosures and supporting schedules.
• Review and enhance the internal control environment, identifying control gaps, and working with relevant departments to implement necessary modifications.
• Oversee the procure-to-pay process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations, acting as a key decision-maker for finance-related inquiries.
• Lead accounts payable staff, providing guidance, performance feedback, and ensuring seamless daily operations.
• Analyze current and future spending to support budget and projection processes, offering technical insights to aid financial planning.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and analyses, ensuring an efficient audit process.
• Take on special projects and other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the team with a flexible, hands-on approach.
