DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a talented Senior Tax Analyst to join its Worldwide Tax Reporting team. The Amazon tax department is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment.
This position will contribute to Amazon’s worldwide income tax accounting process for interim and annual reporting periods. Immerse yourself in the most intriguing tax issues facing Amazon on a worldwide scale!
Key job responsibilities
Develop comprehensive global tax calculations with meticulous attention to detail and supporting documentation.
Create insightful analytics for external auditors and senior finance leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement advanced technological solutions.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive management reporting packages analyzing global tax provision results for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Prepare detailed tax disclosures for financial reports, ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards.
Design and maintain sophisticated forecasting models for tax expenses and cash flow.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
CPA
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of accounting concepts

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $123,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
