Sage Search Partners has teamed up with a family office in Dallas seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a focus on quality.
Responsibilities:
• Record journal entries, partner capital activity, and investment valuations.
• Perform reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and U.S. GAAP.
• Collaborate with investment and services accounting teams.
Duties:
• Prepare journal entries for investment and operating activities.
• Reconcile cash, holdings, and investment transactions.
• Document valuations of investments and fixed income securities.
• Allocate P&L, management, and performance fees among partners.
• Refine financial statement preparation processes.
• Document accounting processes and internal controls.
• Design and modify financial statements and reports.
• Assist with annual audits.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• CPA licensed or exam eligible and in pursuit.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting (audit or tax) or industry.
• Familiarity with SS&C Advent Geneva, SEI Archway, and Tableau is a plus.
