Overview:
We are seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our team at Pulte Mortgage. This hybrid role requires two days of work per week in our office and offers a unique opportunity to gain accounting and mortgage industry experience. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for completing monthly accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, reports, and projects. • Record daily transactions
• Record monthly journal entries
• Prepare reports
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Participate in the period-end close process
• Assist with ad hoc projects
• Financial, regulatory, and operational reporting and analysis
• Qualifications:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years' experience working in an accounting/finance capacity
• Proficiency with MS Office with advanced Excel skills
• Committed team player with interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Positive attitude, desire to learn, self-motivated, and an effective team player
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
