Bachelor's degree, CFA or CMA or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance in a manufacturing environment
3 - 5 years' experience in accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas
Take charge of Accounts Receivable and Payable and ensure that all tasks are fulfilled
Take charge of the day-to-day, month-end, and year-end operations of the Accounting/ Finance Department
Take a leading role in year-end and other audit activities
Review transactions to ensure that they are booked to the correct general ledger accounts
Maintain Fixed Asset and Depreciation schedules
Facilitate tax reporting and payments with assistance from our CPA firm
Complete government censuses and surveys, as needed
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
Perform period closing journal entries and processes
Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative tasks as may be required
Confidential use of proprietary software
