Job Title: Staff Accountant- Accounting & Compliance
Reports To: Senior Accountant
Job Location: Jaipur
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our India Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations (GST and Transfer Pricing).
What We Are Looking For
General Ledger Maintenance:
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Record all AP invoices and ensure appropriate documentation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
Analytics And Financial Reporting
• Run month-end controls and record closing journal entries.
• Perform a detailed balance sheet and Profit & Loss flux analysis to identify and explain key variances between reporting periods.
• Prepare fixed assets roll forward.
GST and Transfer Pricing Compliance
• Prepare periodic GST returns and coordinate with consultant for timely filing.
• Liaison with the GST consultant and file periodic GST refund. Coordinate with the GST consultant to resolve queries raised by the GST department.
• Prepare data and coordinate with the consultant for timely filing of annual Transfer Pricing returns (Form 3CEB and Form 3CEAA).
Maintaining T&E, Wellness And Fixed Assets Tracker
• Review and approve T&E and Wellness reimbursements.
• Maintain location-wise fixed assets tracker.
Process Improvement And Reporting
• Identify and implement opportunities for improving accounting, reporting, and compliance processes.
• Support in preparing ad-hoc reports as requested from time to time.
Education & Experience
• CA Inter/ICWA/CIMA or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP and GST preferred
Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
