Staff Accountant
Oakland, CA (Hybrid)
Are you a seasoned accounting professional with at least three years of experience supporting as an accountant? Do you have experience as an inventory accountant or in manufacturing industry? We are looking for an accounting professional for a job that would start as soon as possible in Oakland, CA. Job Responsibilities you will have:
-Perform month-end close activities including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and reports related to retail inventories.
-Perform account analysis on general ledger detail and prepare journal entries based on this analysis.
-Monitor and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy. Verify physical inventory counts and resolve discrepancies
-Prepare Financial Reports
-Other responsibilities as needed
Job Qualifications you will need:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting
-3+ years of experience as an accountant (Inventory accounting a huge plus)
-Experience with SAP
-Proficient with Excel
-Excellent communication skills
-Good problem solving skills
