Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a rapidly growing SaaS company where you will gain exposure to all aspects of finance, from financial planning and analysis to accounting and reporting.
You will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of our company by maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers, and performing general accounting.
Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and forecasts.
2.
Maintaining the general ledger, including reconciling all accounts and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
3.
Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
4.
Conducting monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
5.
Assisting with annual audit preparations and providing information to external auditors.
6.
Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations, and keeping abreast of latest best practices.
7.
Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
8.
Improving systems and procedures and initiating corrective actions.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Staff Accountant position, you should possess the following:
1.
A bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
3.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with other financial software.
4.
Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
5.
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
8.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
