Job description
As a Sta Accountant, your role involves using established procedures to complete daily tasks efficiently and effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Verifying, entering, and processing invoices in a timely manner
- Researching and resolving vendor disputes over the phone
- Retrieving and maintaining vendor W-9s as required
- Assisting in accounts receivable billing, collections, and posting process
- Monitoring tax compliance and filing sales/use and hotel taxes monthly
- Reviewing month-end closing submissions and making corrections prior to finalization
- Reviewing a high volume of transactions and troubleshooting mis-postings in property management systems
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Assisting in gathering documents during regulatory audits
- Providing accounting procedures training to hotel team members
- Responding to emails in a complete and timely manner
- Assisting in other accounting-related projects
- Maintaining pristine and thorough electronic records

Qualifications required for this role include:

- Strong business acumen
- Bachelor's in accounting or commerce required
- Minimum one year dynamic accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Adherence to high ethical values
- Organized and self-motivated team player
- Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
- Exercise good judgment on acceptable information to provide internal and external users of accounting data
- Advanced computer skills and experience in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and various hotel property management systems is a plus
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Availability during a portion of US business hours

Additionally, the job type is full-time, permanent with a day shift and US shift schedule. The work location is a hybrid remote setup in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
