About Us:
Castleview Cars is a well-established and growing car dealership. We are seeking a motivated Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. This is a standalone position with a clear pathway to grow into a Finance Manager or Head of Accounts as the business expands.
Responsibilities:
Process all daily financial transactions and data entries
Manage purchase invoices, sales invoices, and payment records
Maintain accurate purchase and sales ledgers
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Design and implement financial systems and processes
Complete VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulations
Assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting
Support year-end audits and liaise with external accountants
Develop financial strategies to support business growth
Requirements:
AAT qualified, Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience
Previous experience in a standalone or small business accounting role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage)
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ambition to grow into a leadership position
