About the Role
We are looking for a well-groomed, disciplined, and service-oriented Steward / Assistant Steward to join our premium team at a luxury restaurant in Mumbai, known for its authentic Italian/Lebanese cuisine. The role involves ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and back-of-house support to deliver a seamless luxury dining experience.
Back-of-House Hygiene & Cleanliness:
Maintain impeccable cleanliness of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and all back-of-house zones as per hospitality standards.
Dish & Equipment Management:
Carefully clean and store all cutlery, crockery, glassware, kitchen utensils, and cooking equipment using appropriate techniques and machinery.
Support to Culinary Operations:
Assist chefs and kitchen staff during service hours with setup, basic prep support, and kitchen coordination.
Sanitation & Waste Disposal:
Ensure safe and responsible disposal of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness in waste management areas.
Equipment Handling:
Operate dishwashers and sanitation equipment responsibly; report any maintenance needs promptly.
Inventory & Storage Assistance:
Help with the organized storing of kitchen supplies and deliveries, maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Luxury Hospitality Etiquette:
Exhibit professional behavior, discipline, and attention to detail, maintaining the ambience expected in a high-end restaurant.
