Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Staffing (100% focus)
Drive mass hiring of 12th pass candidates and frontline staff across 9–10 stores.
Manage high-volume recruitment to meet manpower gaps caused by high attrition.
Conduct walk-ins, campus tie-ups, and local market Poaching, sourcing drives.
Ensure daily follow-up with stores on manpower status and closures.
2. Onboarding & Induction
Facilitate joining formalities and smooth onboarding for new hires.
Conduct induction sessions at store level to align employees with Pantaloons' culture.
3.HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure accurate payroll inputs, roster management, and attendance, on roll hirings in Excel.
Handle PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment compliance and statutory documentation.
Maintain HR trackers, MIS reports, and dashboards for review.
4.Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
Act as the first point of contact for staff issues and grievances.
Counsel employees, resolve conflicts, and escalate serious cases to Regional HR.
Support disciplinary actions including warning letters, counseling notes, and exits.
5. Performance & Retention
Monitor store attrition trends and work on retention interventions.
Support performance review discussions, PIPs, and disciplinary actions.
6. Training & Engagement
Identify skill gaps and coordinate trainings for store employees.
Drive Training completion across the stores
• Drive engagement activities to maintain staff morale despite attrition pressures.
7. Travel & Multi-Store Handling
Daily travel across different areas to visit 9–10 stores in the cluster.
Ensure regular communication with Store Managers and HR central team.
Be available to support urgent staffing and employee relation issues on ground.
Skills & Competencies Required:
•Strong recruitment and sourcing skills (frontline hiring focus).
Knowledge of payroll, PF, ESIC, and statutory compliance.
Hands-on Excel skills for payroll, attendance, and HR reporting.
Ability to handle employee grievances calmly and firmly.
Agility to manage pressure and travel extensively across stores.
Strong communication and relationship management.
Qualification & Experience:
MBA/PGDM in HR or Graduate with HR specialization.
2–5 years' experience in HR, preferably in retail or mass frontline hiring.
Experience in handling multi-store HR responsibilities will be an added advantage.
