Job description, work day and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the replenishment of Hospital imprests, by scanning to par levels, receiving the stock from the Warehouse and External Suppliers, and placing the stock in its Ward/Department location, as well as receive and distribute orders, which are delivered direct to site.
The Position
Adherence at all times to the receipting and distribution procedures.
Acceptance and checking of goods received at the O’Connor Distribution Centre.
Assist with the unloading of goods when required using appropriate materials handling aids/equipment – Forklift, Pallet Movers, Trolleys etc.
Check incoming goods against the couriers/carriers running sheet or consignment notes for consignee details, quantity and condition of parcels.
Ensure deliveries are correct relating to quantity, quality and specification, conforming to the details and conditions on the Purchase Order.
Accurately receipting orders in the computerised supply system and processing/filing paperwork/documentation such as packing slip/invoices and receipt reports.
Segregate direct supply items from inventory items for priority dispatch to our hospitals
Deliver goods received to the inventory locator within the Distribution Centre, unpacking, checking for accuracy before placing into the nominated location.
Rotation of stock to ensure first in, first out (FIFO) (and/or nearest expiry date).
Handle and store goods correctly to comply with clinical and infectious control standards.
You will have high-level verbal and written communication skills, a demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage priorities and maintain performance at a high level within allocated time schedules along with basic mathematical skills to determine and verify stock quantities, prices and volume of goods.
To succeed you will possess LHRW (Forklift) and a current WA Medium Rigid Heavy Vehicle Drivers License. You will have basic computer skills and physical capability to perform all functions required by this position.

We can offer you
Salary: $5+,423 to $60,631 plus 11.5% superannuation
Permanent full time position working 76 hours a fortnight
Based at the O’Connor warehouse
