Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Summer Finance Assistant to support daily financial operations. Responsibilities include data entry, record-keeping, and assisting with financial reporting tasks. Summer student will be provided training and taught financial

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare hours for upload and invoice preparation
Prepare, review and submit customer invoices bi-weekly, ensuring accuracy and
timeliness
Post all incoming customer deposits
Maintain and monitor the A/R aging report, reaching out to overdue accounts to ensure
timely collection of amounts owed
Respond to customers inquiries or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
Sending monthly customer statements
Find and gather data as required
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and smooth financial operations
Ad hoc duties and responsibilities as required
Qualifications

Willing to work 37.5 hours per week for 8 weeks
**This is a short term position for 8 weeks July 2 - August 30th, partially support by the Canada Summer Jobs Grant. Potential for longer term employment past August 30th**
