The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The Junior Accountant will primarily focus on transactional processing, basic reconciliations, and providing administrative support to the team.
Your Impact
Assist with the entry of financial data, including invoices, receipts, and journal entries into accounting software.
Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Support the processing of accounts payable (vendor invoices) and accounts receivable (client billing/collections).
Organize and maintain financial records, files, and documentation in compliance with company policies.
Provide general administrative support to the finance team, such as filing, scanning, and managing correspondence.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules as needed.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an Accounting program with an accredited institution
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
