About the Firm:
A Top 100 CPA firm based in Seattle with over 500 employees and 35 Partners across bordering states. Providing high-quality tax and advisory services that help each client achieve their goals.
Provide advice to a complex client base. Manage relationships and learn a variety of technical skills. Work on national and international business.
Responsibilities:
• Work in the Advisory Team.
• Tax Planning and dealing with key tax issues.
• Learn and implement financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Interact with and manage clients. Client-facing role immediately – meeting with companies over $200 million in revenue, provide and learn tax advice.
• Preparing complex Federal and State income tax returns for Fortune 500 companies in industries such as Technology, Finance, Real Estate
• Reviewing Federal and State income tax returns of junior staff
• Recognize trends and potential opportunities for savings and risk reduction of clients' business.
• Continuous research on updated taxation laws and regulations in the US
• Ensure accurate, timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Provide support on special tax projects and initiatives.
• Manage and develop junior members and cultivate a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Skills and Experience:
• 1 years of relevant work experience in public accounting
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Strong computer skills with knowledge and skills in a wide variety of applications
• Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
