Location: Khar (West), Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting operations of company, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This is an in-person role requiring strong leadership, multitasking, and technical accounting expertise.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations.
• Oversee and guide a team of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in work.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.
• Monitor and track all due dates (statutory payments, returns, audits, etc.) Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly/yearly closings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to improve processes.
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in Tally Prime.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in handling multi-company accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software Tally, Google Sheets and MS Excel.
