We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Lead Business Analyst. In this role, you will: • Help define requirements that are on the critical path for the upgrade of the incumbent Vendor platform (BaNCS) to the latest version. • This will involve focus on the processing lifecycles for both mandatory & voluntary Corporate Actions within the UK Direct & Global Custody business lines of Securities Services. • Perform analysis to elicit requirements and create documentation such as Business and Functional Requirements and Solution Design for mandatory & voluntary Corporate Actions processing • Hold discussions with internal teams such as Product, Operations, Control and Technology as well as vendor teams to ensure that the requirements are appropriately managed and supported throughout the lifecycle • Understand and deliver the business and functional requirements for prioritized changes and manage the change to completion • Proactively challenge the status of risks / Issues to ensure the appropriate mitigation & remedial plans are in place • Ensure the upgrade is implemented in accordance with Industry Best practice guidelines, Market Standards and Vendor recommendations resulting in the streamlined & optimised business workflows to manage the lifecycle of all types of Corporate Actions on the TCS BaNCS platform • Encourage a positive working environment across disciplines and teams to ensure strong alignment • Identify opportunities for improvement and suggestions for change Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: • Strong practical experience in business analyst roles in financial services industry • Experience in delivering complex Business and Technology system related changes and documenting business / functional requirements • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate to different levels of audience • Sound understanding of Technology infrastructure and software development lifecycle in the context of system changes • Flexibility in approach, and the ability to manage ambiguity by effectively engaging clients or partners • Positive 'can do' attitude with ability to execute role with a high level of autonomy while being mindful of when to seek guidance and approval • Thrives working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working across different groups and time zones • Must be a strong problem solver and effective communicator, with a partnership mindset The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: • Knowledge of Equities or Fixed Income within a Custodian environment or Broker Dealer for Settlements, or Asset Services is highly desirable but not essential for this role • Experience with Agile & Agile Methods • Knowledge of TCS BaNCS and/or Quartz product in the context of Asset Servicing
