Technical Account Manager (TAM) – Retail & Supply Chain Tech
Role Overview
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring clients successfully onboard, integrate, and optimize their use of our inventory and supply chain technology solutions. This is a hands-on, technical role that combines client engagement with data and system expertise. Ideal candidates have a background in retail tech, supply chain tech, or ERP integrations and can bridge the gap between technical solutions and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
???? Client Collaboration
• Work closely with clients to define and document their data integration needs within retail and supply chain ecosystems.
• Educate clients on data requirements, formats, and best practices to ensure seamless implementation.
???? Data Integration & Validation
• Support clients in extracting, transforming, and validating data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct detailed analysis of retail or supply chain data to identify discrepancies and optimize processes.
???? Technical Configuration & Automation
• Build and optimize SQL queries, API requests, and internal configurations to streamline data flow.
• Develop scripts and workflows (Python, Ruby, etc.) to automate routine data extraction and processing.
???? Pre-Sale & Post-Sale Support
• Provide technical expertise in pre-sales to demonstrate how our solutions align with client needs in retail and supply chain operations.
• Deliver ongoing technical support to ensure clients fully adopt and maximize the value of the solution.
• Tech Skills & Qualifications
✅ 4+ years in a technical role such as TAM, Data Analyst, or Developer, ideally in retail tech or supply chain technology.
✅ Strong proficiency in SQL, scripting (Python/Ruby), and data processing.
✅ Experience working with APIs, ERP systems, and BI applications.
✅ Familiarity with YAML, JSON, ETL pipelines, and database structures.
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial & Management Engineering, or a related field.
✅ Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus).
