Workplace Technology is part of Colleague Enablement and we are dedicated to orchestrating stunning colleague experiences that enable BNZers to serve customers brilliantly. We are looking for an experienced Technology Support Manager to join us on that journey and have responsibility for the service desk, walk up support tīma (team) and asset management areas.
Please note this role is known internally as Platform Manager.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We sat down with our Head of Workplace Tech, and they let us know the following about the tūranga (role).
What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this tūranga will complete?
Ensure the day to day service provided to our internal customers is consistent and of a high standard.
Co-creation of the Domain strategy in particular our support goals and vision.
Formulation & execution of associated roadmap.
Lead and engage the level one and two teams and support the tīma to define and take ownership of tīma level objective and key results that contribute towards the achievement of strategy.
Embed industry standard SLA's, controls and process to ensure our internal customers IT issues needs are taken care of.

What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?
The most challenging part of this tūranga will be the execution of a strategy of expansion and improvement - while ensuring that customer service continues to be maintained.
What technical skills are required for this role?
IT operational experience: Background in running a customer focused IT support area and experience with process, procedures and reporting associated with a BAU technical support team.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
Strategic Vision: Ability to define and align the platform vision with business goals.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with software development and platform infrastructure.
Data-Driven: Skilled in using data and metrics to guide decisions.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
Stakeholder Management: Expertise in managing expectations of senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for identifying and addressing challenges.
Communication: Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
User-Centric: Focus on user needs to shape product features and direction.
Change Management: Experience managing change in agile or fast-paced environments.
