Te Tūranga | The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Trade Relationship team to provide first level support to the Trade Relationship Managers.
As a Trade Relationship Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and will handle all day-to-day transactions such as Documentary Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections and Trade Finance Loans etc. for all customers to ensure they are completed through various Bank systems. All the while contributing to the overall success of the Trade Finance Relationship Team.
Your role will include direct communication with customers, and you will ensure all resolutions to customer queries are meet within agreed timeframes. With your Trade Finance experience, you will be able to provide expertise to both internal and external customers on all Trade Finance products and clearly identify sales opportunities to be referred to your Trade Relationship Manager or the wider Bank.

To be successful, you will have exceptional service ethic, accuracy, attention to detail and efficiency. You will be a clear and confident communicator, with strong time management and stakeholder management skills.
Previous experience working with Trade Finance Transactions such as Documentary Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, and Trade loans is preferred. As is, an understanding of the International Chamber of Commerce Rules that these transactions are governed by and how these transactions are processed subject to the banks obligations under the CBA groups Economic Trade Sanctions policy. A working understanding of SAP, MTS, Onyx, Host and CGI Trade360 is preferred, having a second language would also be an advantage but not essential.
