Job description, work day and responsibilities
The Department of Agriculture, located at the PA Farm Show & Expo Center, is on the lookout for reliable and skilled individuals to become full-time Tradesman Helpers. In this role, you will play a vital part in the operation and upkeep of our expansive 24-acre facility in Harrisburg, which hosts the unique and renowned Pennsylvania Farm Show. This role entails performing a diverse range of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks while providing support to our journeyman craftsmen involved in construction, electrical work, building maintenance, utility operations, or related trades. By collaborating closely with our experienced journeyman craftsmen, individuals in this position will gain valuable on-the-job training and enhance their skill sets across various competencies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
• Full-time, temporary employment without benefits.
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
