Background

Our tax automation team works closely with clients and client-facing teams to build automation solutions for client use cases. The team is a separate vertical within Tax and has tremendous growth opportunities. The team is led by Senior Tax and Technology professionals with significant experience in Consulting firms

We are looking for professionals with experience on Alteryx and Power BI to join the Tax automation team and build a strong career in this fast-growing field.

Job Description
• Primary skills – Alteryx & Power BI
• Secondary skills - SQL
• The candidate will build tax applications for tax clients to automate complex processes in direct and indirect taxes.

Requirements
• 2-5 years of professional experience in Alteryx
• Proficiency in creating Alteryx apps and gallery-oriented workflows.
• Must have working experience with developing PowerBI dashboards.
• Strong understanding of one or more databases (SQL, MySQL, Mongo DB, etc.)
• Experience in Power BI dashboard development and administration
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in Alteryx and Power BI will be a plus.
• A degree in commerce background is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Alteryx to extract, transform, and load data from ERP and various sources.
• Create, update, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI with different data sources like SQL, Oracle, Excel, Azure Synapse, etc. to visualize and communicate key metrics and trends.
• Full understanding of data cleansing, transformation, and quality processes using ETL tools like Alteryx and Power query.
• Able to write complex queries with multiple joins to automate/manipulate data with Alteryx.
• Must be advanced in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to nested formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, excel modeling, and preparing reports and dashboards.
• Will have to work in partnership with the other IT teams and stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes.

To qualify for the role, you must have (certification & Experience):

BE/BTech degree in IT/Computer Science or BCA or BSc degree in Computer Science or any graduation degree with Analytics Course Certifications
