Job Overview
The Cheran Group Of Companies is seeking a Senior Unit Accountant for a full-time position located in Kangayam. This role requires a minimum of 7 years to a maximum of 10 years of work experience. As a Senior Unit Accountant, you will manage comprehensive financial operations tailored to meet the institutional objectives. • Comprehensive understanding of general ledger management, ensuring meticulous tracking and recording of financial transactions within the organization.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting to evaluate expenses and help in achieving cost efficiency and resource optimization for the institution.
• Solid experience in tax preparation to manage tax-related matters effectively, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
• A thorough understanding of audit compliance to ensure alignment with internal and external audit standards, fortifying financial credibility.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines to align with the strategic objectives of Cheran Group Of Companies.
• Manage financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, providing comprehensive financial assessments to senior management.
• Oversee budget management, ensuring financial resources are utilized effectively and revising budget plans to meet institutional goals.
• Lead the account reconciliation process, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved promptly and accurately to uphold financial accuracy.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into financial performance, supporting data-driven decision-making processes.
• Handle general ledger activities, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and reported in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while optimizing tax liabilities.
• Coordinate with auditors during external and internal audits, ensuring audit preparedness and implementing audit recommendations efficiently.
