US Accountant (Real Estate/Property Accounting)
We are looking for a US Accountant with 2+ years of relevant experience in Sage Intacct and ResMan, focusing on US-based clients.
About the Role
The Associate/Sr. Associate will be responsible for performing accounting services, including E2E Bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and payroll services. They will also assist with monthly compilation engagements and audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare financial statements and compilation reports based on client deadlines
• Complete month-end closing procedures and special projects within set timelines
• Engage in direct client interaction, serving as a primary point of contact
• Review workpapers, financial statements, and other documents before submission to manager or director
• Advise and assist with the annual budget process, as requested
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Take ownership and assume responsibility for assigned work
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, specifically with US-based Real Estate/Property Management clients using Sage Intacct software
• Good knowledge of Rent/Lease accounting
• Prior experience in client handling
• Strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as proficiency with all necessary accounting software
• Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
