Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled US Property Accountant with 3+ years of relevant experience in US Accounting(Property/Real Estate Domain) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, including E2E Bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and payroll services.
In addition, they should have prior experience in client handling, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, month-end closing procedures, and special projects.
They will also interact directly with clients, provide advisory services, and take ownership of their work assignments.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare financial statements and compilation reports in a timely manner based on client deadlines
• Complete all month-end closing procedures and special projects according to client requirements
• Provide direct client interaction and serve as a point of contact
• Review and finalize all workpapers, financial statements, and other relevant documents before submission to managers or directors
• Assist with annual budget processes and identify opportunities for additional client services
• Take ownership of work assignments and assume responsibility for their completion
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (preferable)
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting with a focus on US based Real Estate/Property Management clients
• Strong knowledge of Rent/Lease accounting and proficiency in necessary accounting software
• Prior experience in client handling and management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Yardi + Power BI
• Sage Intacct + Power BI
