Job Overview:
We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented Accounts & Payroll Administrator to manage our company's USA-based financial and payroll activities. The successful candidate will handle a range of tasks, including managing invoices, overseeing accounts payable and receivables, administering payroll and benefits, and managing employee timesheets. This position is entirely remote, but the candidate must be available during USA business hours (Pacific Time).
Responsibilities:
Invoice Management: Prepare, send, and store invoices. Communicate with clients regarding billing issues. Track and monitor unpaid invoices and ensure timely payments.
Accounts Payable: Verify, process, and reconcile payments to suppliers. Maintain up-to-date records of all charges.
Accounts Receivable: Oversee the collection of payments from clients. Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities.
Payroll Administration: Process payroll for all employees on a regular basis. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and other company-provided benefits. Coordinate with benefits providers and handle any related queries or issues
Timesheet Management: Maintain and manage the company's timekeeping system. Ensure all employees' timesheets are accurate and submitted on time.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular reports detailing the company's financial status. Provide these reports to the management team and suggest improvements as needed.
Compliance: Ensure all financial operations align with local and federal laws and the company's policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with QBO Advanced Certification.
Proven experience as an Accounts & Payroll Administrator, or a similar role in the Accounting field.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Dropbox, and MS Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
Advanced knowledge of accounting and payroll principles.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with USA financial, payroll, Tax, etc regulations is a plus.
Note: This job allows 100% remote work from any location in India. However, candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
