Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong design fundamentals, a forward-looking mindset, and experience in user experience and interface design.

They should be proficient in Figma, have a strong understanding of front-end technologies, and be familiar with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Craft wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Lead user research and usability testing to refine designs.
• Ensure designs align with accessibility, inclusivity, and responsiveness standards.
• Create pixel-perfect UI components, layouts, and design systems in Figma.
• Apply motion design or micro-interactions to enhance usability.
• Maintain design consistency across web and mobile platforms.
• Design-to-Development Handoff
• Provide engineers with clean assets and clear design specs using tools like Figma's Dev Mode, Zeplin, or Storybook.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure faithful implementation of designs.
• Understand front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic React/Flutter concepts) to better communicate with developers.
• Prompt engineers effectively to ensure designs are implemented with accuracy and performance in mind.
• Leverage AI-assisted design tools to speed up ideation and asset generation.
• Explore and prototype using no-code/low-code platforms for rapid validation.
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving a scalable design system.
Requirements
• 3-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio demonstrating capabilities.
• Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping, dev handoff).
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, React concepts preferred).
• Strong visual design sensibility with knowledge of typography, color, and grid systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in no-code/low-code platforms (Framer, Webflow, Bubble).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience contributing to or managing a design system.
• Motion/interaction design skills (After Effects, Lottie, Figma Motion plugins).
