- Building & Maintaining Reports: You will create and maintain a variety of standard and custom financial reports and dashboards using Workday's powerful reporting tools such as Report Writer, Composite Reports, Worksheets, and Prism.
- Collaborating & Consulting: Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to understand their reporting needs and transform them into functional and technical specifications.
- Ensuring Data Integrity: You will be responsible for guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of all financial data within Workday reports.
- Optimizing & Troubleshooting: Monitor report performance, proactively resolve issues, and continuously optimize reports for maximum efficiency.
- Empowering Users: Provide support and training to end-users, helping them master Workday's reporting capabilities.
- Driving Change: Assist with system updates, testing, and change management initiatives related to reporting.
- Partnering on Projects: Collaborate with Workday system administrators and cross-functional teams to deliver on key projects.
- Managing the Catalog: Oversee the Workday Finance report catalog, ensuring proper version control, naming conventions, and security access.
- Being a Subject Matter Expert: Maintain a deep understanding of Workday's data model and provide expert guidance to colleagues and business owners.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- A Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least four years of combined experience in a reporting and analytics role focusing on Workday Core Financials, Expenses, Procurement, and Prism.
- High proficiency in key Workday reporting tools such as Report Writer, Composite Reports, and Dashboards.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to gather and document requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
In addition to the above, experience with Workday certifications, other Workday products, a shared Workday HCM environment, and familiarity with Agile methodology would be considered advantageous.
