Manage International Accounting Operations
Develop and implement accounting policies

and controls in compliance with international accounting standards

Lead the month
end and year
end closing processes
ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Oversee general ledger activities
including journal entries
account reconciliations
and intercompany transactions
Monitor and analyze international financial statements to identify trends
variances
and areas for improvement

Financial Reporting and Compliance
Prepare and review financial statements
including balance sheets
income statements
and cash flow statements
in accordance with international accounting standards
Stay updated on changes in international accounting regulations and assess their impact on the organizations financial reporting

Team Leadership and Development
Provide guidance
coaching
and mentorship to a team of accountants
fostering a collaborative and high
performance work environment
Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations
recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement
Conduct training sessions to enhance the teams knowledge of international accounting principles and practices
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
ensuring a strong and competent accounting team

functional Collaboration
Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Participate in cross
functional projects and initiatives to support the organizations strategic goals and international expansion
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Finance
or a related field
A masters degree or CPA qualification is preferred
Extensive experience in accounting
with a focus on international accounting and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of international accounting standards
such as IFRS or GAAP
Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role
with demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Experience with international accounting software is a plus
Excellent analytical skills
