About the role
This opening is for an Administration / Support Officer to join our team in Portsmith, Cairns
This is a Full Time Permanent Position, Monday to Friday
Provide general administration and office support where required
Utilising inhouse systems for the purpose of data entry and manifesting tasks
Updating and using spreadsheets on a regular basis
Utilise Freight Tracking software in order to track customer freight and resolve queries, including working with damaged and unidentified freight
Provide timely, accurate and thorough information in response to customer queries and escalations through inbound and outbound customer contact.
Dedicate your time to diagnosing freight issues in real time by inspecting and investigating freight throughout the Depot and speaking with numerous staff members on the floor
Dedicate appropriate amounts of time daily towards office administration as well as inspecting and investigating customer freight queries on the floor and throughout the Depot
Pallet Control and Coordination tasks, including reconciling pallets and ensuring correct pallet numbers
Coordinating with customers face to face who come in to collect any deliveries
