Delivering Enterprise Solutions
This role is pivotal in providing sophisticated solutions to clients. The Senior Consultant leads and participates in client engagements, leveraging expertise in Anaplan and finance to design and implement models. This involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure the successful execution of complex projects.
Mentorship skills will be crucial in driving team members' development, while thought leadership will play a key role in business development activities. As an intermediate-level subject matter expert, the Senior Consultant has deep knowledge of the industry or extensive experience as a senior architect, with proven ability to architect end-to-end solutions.
The ideal candidate must have end-to-end implementation experience from conceptualisation to building models from scratch for multiple projects. Excellent communication is essential for this role's success.
Key Responsibilities
• Enterprise Engagements: Lead client engagements, providing expert guidance and support for enterprise-sized projects.
• Project Leadership: Design intuitive, multi-dimensional Anaplan models for large systems, lead project teams, and manage sprints and stand-ups.
• Requirements Gathering: Utilize Anaplan and finance knowledge to gather comprehensive requirements, ensuring solutions meet client needs.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and clients on various assignments across multiple engagements.
• Solution Design: Design and architect use cases, providing complex solutions that meet client needs, and lead Model Builders on full model builds.
• Client Engagement/Workshops: Lead client workshops on training, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment, independently managing client relationships and leading overall client delivery.
• Mentorship: Mentor team members and provide leadership to Anaplan model builders, fostering their development.
• Strategic Initiatives: Participate in strategic initiatives, supporting the company's growth and development.
• Business Development: Contribute to proposals, supporting business development activities.
• Deliverables: Meet deliverable deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate project completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Leadership: Experience leading medium to large end-to-end engagements, including multiple use cases such as project management, budget strategy, and planning.
• Project Management: Ability to lead project implementation, managing sprints and stand-ups, and communicating clear requirements and deliverables to model builders.
• Quality Assurance/Testing: Proven experience in leading quality assurance (QA) and testing efforts, writing test scripts, and creating user stories.
• Client Engagement: Experience leading small use cases with multiple fully referenceable clients, delivering high-quality solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced-level subject matter expertise in architecting end-to-end solutions with multiple use cases and data integration.
• Anaplan Expertise: Strong experience using Anaplan software, with Model Builder certification and working towards Solution Architect certification.
• Agile Practices: Demonstrated successful use of Agile methodologies, including leading small use case sprints and stand-ups.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal, active listening, and written communication skills, conveying concepts in technical and non-technical terms.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, compiling and analyzing data effectively.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated teamwork and citizenship skills, actively participating in team communication and collaboration.
• Presentation Skills: Effective presentation skills, presenting solutions clearly and confidently.
