About our Team
The Young Endeavour Youth Scheme (YEYS) is a Commonwealth program delivering world class development opportunities for young Australians aboard Sail Training Ship Young Endeavour. Our integrated APS/ADF team is responsible for program development, youth crew selection and administration, marketing communication and partnerships, commercial operations and governance. We also administer the YEYS Public Fund Trust.
We work closely with Navy and Defence to deliver the Young Endeavour Program, support youth policy outcomes, maintain community partnerships and build awareness of Navy in the community.
The YEYS team is currently dual focused - delivering a program of youth development voyages around Australia, and preparing for program expansion following the introduction into service of a new, larger sail training ship. A strong focus on revenue generation and program growth provides an exciting opportunity to contribute collaboratively towards business improvement initiatives.
Team members are also able to participate in a familiarisation voyage in STS Young Endeavour.
