Attendance and Admissions Officer - Trinity Academy Grammar
Job description
Trinity Academy Grammar is an ambitious and inclusive 11-16 school that, for the first time in the school’s history, is over-subscribed with over 1,000 students on roll; having grown this number from 650 when we first started since becoming part of the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust.

Since then, Trinity Academy Grammar has had a plethora of successes. In February 2023 Ofsted graded the academy as good with outstanding features in leadership and personal development. This followed being awarded the World Class School mark in 2021.

These transformational changes mean that it is an exciting time to join the academy, we are incredibly proud of our successes, and we are looking for the best people to work alongside our already committed team to continue our journey.

The school is committed to providing an outstanding education for its students and is guided by the core values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility, which permeate every aspect of school life.

All of these fantastic and exciting initiatives require the expertise and commitment of dedicated staff and Trinity Academy Grammar now wishes to appoint an Attendance and Admissions Officer to join our pastoral team.

As Attendance and Admissions Officer, you will:

Maintain accurate attendance records across the academy, and report on attendance as required and contribute to strategies that improve academy attendance.
Manage a robust, accurate admissions process.
Deal with enquiries and queries from parents.
Liaise with staff, students, parents and multi-agency partners to ensure that attendance and admissions processes are accurate and fit for purpose.

What we need:

Full UK Driving License.
5 or more GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
Evidence of experience in a similar office role or administering pastoral issues.
Experience of using databases, word processing and a range of other IT packages.
Well developed time management, planning and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Effective team player.

What we can offer:

Full support from a dedicated team of senior leaders from around the trust.
A first-class Behaviour for Learning system.
Excellent teaching resources.
Career progression and cross-trust working; as a high performing academy and a growing trust, we can offer real opportunities for growth and career development.
An excellent CPD package for all staff.
A range of staff benefits including reduced cost healthcare; cycle to work schemes, electric car scheme, counselling service.
