At Orion Health, we believe in designing digital health experiences that empower patients and clinicians alike. As a UX Design Intern, you won’t just be observing from the sidelines – you’ll be immersed in real product challenges, shaping tools that support healthcare delivery around the world.

Whether it's personalising patient journeys using AI or making sense of wearable data through clean design, your work will help reimagine what’s possible in healthcare.


What You’ll Get to Do

Through the months of November 2025 to February 2026, you will:

Work alongside seasoned UX designers, product owners, and developers to craft intuitive, elegant digital experiences.
Sketch, prototype, and refine solutions that are user-centred and deeply impactful.
Contribute to real projects that reach real users – from concept through to usability testing.
Explore how emerging technologies like AI can enhance accessibility, simplify complexity, and improve health outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Here's what would help you shine:

A budding portfolio that showcases your thinking across UX/UI, wireframes, user flows or prototypes
Familiarity with user-centred design methods and an interest in validating designs through testing
A working knowledge of Figma (non-negotiable – we use it every day)
A curious mindset and ability to handle ambiguity
Bonus points for basic HTML/CSS/JS skills or exposure to accessibility principles

Here’s what to expect:

Apply online: Submit your CV and show us your work! This could be a digital portfolio, PDF samples, or anything that showcases your design thinking and creativity.
Online UX challenge: If your application progresses, we’ll invite you to complete a short online exercise designed to highlight your understanding of UX principles, design tools, and emerging areas like AI in design.
Meet the team: If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to an interview with our friendly Product Design team. It’s a chance for us to learn more about your studies, projects, interests, and what excites you about design – and for you to ask us anything, too.
Offer time! If everything aligns, we’ll extend an offer and welcome you aboard as our next UX Intern. From there, your future’s in your hands – and we’re here to help shape it.
