Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to be the first point of contact for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to help others. This role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product and service information with professionalism and efficiency.

Hours are:

Friday & Saturday

5:30am-2pm

Key responsibilities are:

Assist with the preparation, packing, and presentation of fresh bakery products.
Provide excellent customer service and help customers with their bakery needs.
Drive a truck to transport bakery stock between locations (must hold a valid license).
Perform regular date checks and rotate stock to ensure product freshness and quality.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the bakery department.
Support the team with general tasks and contribute to a positive team environment.

What we’re looking for:

A team player with a great attitude and a strong work ethic.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Full driver’s license required.
Previous bakery or retail experience is an advantage, but not essential – training will be provided.
