Job Responsibilities:
The Baker/Pastry Prep Cook at The Salt Shed plays a crucial role in producing high-quality baked goods and ice cream for our concessions and wholesale operations.
Preparing pizza dough, ice cream, and various baked goods for wholesale and concessions.
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, including dishwashing, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Collaborating with the team and adapting to changing needs.
Ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
About You:
You must have at least one year of pastry experience or completion of pastry school.
A valid food handler certification is required.
You should be able to work a standard 40-hour week.
You will need to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per day.
Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs may be required.
You should be comfortable with repetitive tasks like kneading dough, panning, scooping ice cream, and portioning cookies.
Handling common allergens such as peanuts, nuts, wheat, eggs, and dairy is necessary.
