Brand Project Manager

💰 $4,200 - $6,720 (Est.) 📍 Melbourne

Job Description

Full job description
At Australian Venue Co., we’re redefining hospitality across Australia and New Zealand with a portfolio of 250+ venues and a bold pipeline of growth, acquisitions, and brownfield transformations.

From iconic pubs to elevated dining experiences, we don’t just operate venues - we build brands that resonate with our guests and communities.

As we continue to invest in large-scale venue transformations, we’re looking for a Brand Project Manager to bring concepts to life and drive commercial success from day one.

The Role

This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of brand, marketing, and operations, leading the end-to-end delivery of brownfield (venue transformation) projects.

You’ll take venues from concept through to relaunch, ensuring each project is grounded in insight, executed at pace, and delivers strong commercial outcomes — particularly in the critical first 90 days post-launch.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping venue identity, driving marketing strategy, and ensuring every relaunch lands with impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the end-to-end delivery of brownfield projects, from research and concept development through to launch and performance reporting
Conduct deep market and competitor analysis, leveraging data to inform brand direction
Develop compelling brand proposals including vision, target audience, and commercial objectives
Collaborate with internal teams to bring concepts to life across design, operations, and marketing
Own the post-launch performance, proactively identifying and implementing strategies to drive revenue
Develop and execute launch marketing plans in partnership with digital and marketing teams
Monitor, analyse and report on sales and campaign performance, optimising where required
Support broader brand initiatives including acquisitions, beverage projects, and PR activity
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in brand strategy and execution within hospitality or a fast-paced consumer environment
Strong commercial acumen — you understand how brand decisions drive revenue
Experience in market research, customer insights, and competitor analysis
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects across different departments
Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver at pace without compromising quality
Experience working with creative teams and designers to bring brand concepts to life
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High attention to detail with strong organisational capability
Relevant hospitality experience highly regarded
Experience Required

Minimum 5+ years in a senior marketing or brand role, ideally within hospitality
Experience in new brand development and scalable concepts
Demonstrated ability to deliver data-led brand strategies that drive growth
Why Join AVC?

Be part of one of Australia’s fastest-growing hospitality groups
Work on high-profile venue transformations and brand projects
Collaborate with a passionate, high-performing team
Opportunity to make a visible commercial impact across the business
Melbourne CBD office with national exposure
