Business Advisory Manager – North Sydney

About the job:
As part of the Business Advisory team, you will provide outstanding services to local and international clients across a diverse range of industries. You will be a crucial contributor to our fast-growing business and will help to build our future as well as your career.

Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups, including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFs
Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other senior business services accountants
Delegating and reviewing junior work
Use of MYOB suite, Xero, Class Super
Liaising with clients and other external service providers
Develop your knowledge with U Learn, the Forvis Mazars individualised learning platform

About you:
Ideally, have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Business Services/ Advisory Accounting with an Australian accounting firm
Experience in working with mid to large-size clients essential
Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other business services accountants
Delegating and reviewing junior work
Liaising with clients and other external service providers
Completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent) and Chartered Accountants Program (or CPA or ACCA)
Good working experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, MYOB and Xero
Working knowledge of Class Super is highly regarded
Ability to lead the team and work with others
Confidence in dealing with clients and technical issues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Willingness to learn
