About the role
In this role you will assist the Procurement team, inclusive of Procurement Category Managers, in conducting data analysis, developing sourcing strategies, assisting with supplier negotiations, assessment of RFx submissions, development and administration of contracts and supplier performance management.
Key responsibilities:
Support a team of Category Managers to deliver procurement activities
Lead tactical procurement initiatives to deliver value to the business
Assist the team in contract administration and management activities
Review purchase orders and spend commitments to ensure compliance to policies
Provide system support for the team and suggest continuous improvements
Act as a trusted commercial advisor within procurement operations activities
About you
You will have experience in supporting a team of Category Managers in daily activities. You will have strong experience in managing multiple and conflicting priorities, stakeholder management and administration skills. You will be motivated to grow your career in procurement into a Category Manger role.
Key skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, legal, economics, finance or related discipline
Experience in sourcing, contract administration or procurement
Experience in supporting a team of Category Managers
Knowledge of procurement fundamentals, sourcing and negotiations, contract implementation and management
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system and Procurement systems would be highly desirable
