About the Role
The Communications Advisor supports the end-to-end delivery of internal and external communication activities across the EPA. The position plays a key role in supporting and delivering small communication projects and initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across the organisation. Working under limited direction, the Communications Advisor contributes to engaging and effective communication outcomes that support both staff engagement and the EPA’s external profile. The role also provides practical support for events, campaigns, and other corporate communication activities.

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is South Australia’s independent environment protection regulator. The organisation works to protect, restore and improve the environment through the risk-based regulation of pollution, waste, noise and radiation. The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the Environment Protection Act 1993 (EP Act) and the Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021 (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.

Desirable Experience
Experience working in communications, public relations or related role.
Remuneration
ASO4 ($75,561- $80,256 per annum) + 12% super added to your choice of super fund.
