Your New Role
As a Senior Case Manager you will provide expertise, support and knowledge to the Protect team and members who are supported by the Protect team and acting as the trustee delegate for approval of claim decisions and claim payments.
In this role you will also be involved with managing and administering a portfolio of complex and general cases such as escalated or disputed Total Permanent Disability (TPD) and Income Protection (IP) insurance claims, Death (D) and Terminal Illness (TI) claims with or without insurance cover.

Minimum 3 years insurance claims experience, and strong prior experience within a Trustee role (required);
Detailed expertise knowledge of the claims and underwriting process & applicable insurance policies including legacy insurers;
Strong knowledge in resolution of disputed claims;
Strong knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements for claim and insurance related matters;
Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service and take ownership of outcomes;
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, co-operating and collaborating with colleagues to meet overall business objectives; and
You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
