We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple residential projects simultaneously (low-rise and high-rise). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and construction, an in-depth understanding of BC’s construction process, and solid knowledge of the British Columbia Electrical Code. Experience in low-voltage systems, fire-alarm installations, and other related electrical scopes is critical. Local BC experience is required.

JKey Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, and budgets for both low-rise and high-rise projects.
Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Technical Oversight
Review and interpret electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with code requirements.
Provide technical guidance on electrical installations, low-voltage systems, fire-alarm setups, and other project-related electrical components.
Code Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure all projects adhere to BC’s building and electrical codes, along with relevant regulations.
Conduct regular site visits and quality inspections to verify workmanship and compliance.
Resolve any technical issues or discrepancies promptly.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and internal group for electrical representative.
Communicate project status, changes, and challenges effectively.
Prepare progress reports, manage documentation, and maintain clear, concise records.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving
Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
Troubleshoot on-site issues and implement solutions collaboratively with the project team.
Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring optimal performance and professional growth.
Foster a positive, safety-focused culture on-site while upholding company standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing electrical construction projects (low-rise and high-rise) in BC.
Relevant post-secondary education or trade certification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Strong understanding of BC construction processes, local building codes, and the British Columbia Electrical Code.
In-depth knowledge of electrical design principles, installations, low-voltage systems, and fire-alarm setups.
Proficiency in project management tools and scheduling software.
Key Competencies
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites within BC.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
