Job Summary

The Creative Media Specialist is responsible for the conceptualization, production, and execution of high-quality video and multimedia content for TCWW and RDWM. This role writes, produces, shoots, and edits videos for in-house use, broadcast, digital platforms, and social media, consistent with the mission and vision of the church. The position also captures photography and B-roll for worship services and special events, manages production workflows, and assists in recruiting and training volunteers to support media initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop scripts and compelling copy for video productions and communication initiatives
• Produce, film, and edit video content for web, social media, broadcast, and internal platforms
• Capture professional photography for worship services, conferences, and special events
• Record and archive B-roll and promotional footage for ongoing and future use
• Manage production schedules, deadlines, and post-production workflows
• Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers in video production, photography, and content creation
• Collaborate with ministry leaders and departments to ensure alignment with organizational messaging and branding
• Produce additional multimedia and creative assets as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in field and studio video production
• Advanced video editing capabilities and understanding of digital content optimization
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept through final delivery
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and leadership levels

Minimum Qualifications
• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a demonstrated passion for using media to advance the mission of the ministry
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
• Creative mindset with the ability to contribute innovative ideas
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Mass Media, Film production, or a related field required
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in video production, scriptwriting, and editing

Technical Expertise
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable professional editing software
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom or comparable photo editing software
• Experience in marketing communications and digital content strategy preferred

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
