Customer Experience Owner (CXO) - Cards Switch
Mō Mātou | About us:
At ASB, we believe progress is more than just financial — it's about helping New Zealanders, communities, and our environment thrive together. We're a purpose-led organisation with a proud history and a clear vision: to support Kiwis in getting one step ahead. Our work is guided by strong values — caring, integrity, courage, passion, and unity — and brought to life by a diverse team of people who genuinely care about making a difference.
As one of Aotearoa's most trusted banking partners, we combine the stability and scale of a large organisation with a culture that ensures you're recognised as an individual. Your ideas, your growth, and your contribution matter here — and you'll be supported to do meaningful work that has a real impact, every day.
Mō te Tūranga | About the role:
As a Customer Experience Owner (CXO) - Cards Switch, you'll be part of the Payments Platform leadership team, driving change and innovation across ASB's critical card infrastructure. You'll lead squads to deliver connected experiences that meet customer and employee needs while ensuring compliance, security, and strategic alignment.
This role requires deep expertise in card issuing and acquiring transaction processing, card switch infrastructure, and scheme compliance. You'll interpret mandates into actionable business and technical requirements, manage third-party payment environment linkages, and influence vendor compliance. You'll also be responsible for card vulnerability and security adherence, including key management, and governance of card vendors and supplier relationships.
