The Opportunity

L-About the Role
- Install, build, configure and deploy database solutions based on technical and business requirements
- Provide database support and technical assistance to diagnose and resolve issues
- Maintain and monitor database performance, integrity, security and resolve issues
- Schedule and perform database backup and recovery activities
- Perform regular health checks of the databases, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Participate and/or lead the design and development of database systems
- Install, create and configure databases and database infrastructure
- Support projects to ensure successful completion of development and testing activities
- Database capacity planning
- Execute Disaster Recovery plans
- Maintain database polices for deployment, development, security and best practices
- Participate in security audits
What You Need To Succeed
• Education:
- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
• Experience:
- 3+ years experience in a database administration role
- Experience building and managing secured, highly available database solutions on Azure
- Experience in design and implementation of database solutions
• Skills:
- Knowledge of database queries
- Knowledge of database theory
- Knowledge of database design
