About the Opportunity
The Digital Content Coordinator sits within MCM’s Philanthropy, Partnerships and Brand Team and plays an important role in bringing MCM’s stories, campaigns and impact to life across digital channels.
Reporting to the Digital Content Lead, this role coordinates and delivers engaging content across MCM’s social media platforms and supports content publishing across MCM websites including in maintaining content on mcm.org.au, mcmhousing.org.au and SleepAtTheG.com.au through sourcing, writing, updating copy, graphics and images in line with corporate style and branding guidelines. Working closely with the Communications and Marketing team and stakeholders across the organisation, the role helps build awareness of MCM’s services and impact through creative and engaging digital storytelling. We’re looking for an energetic and motivated digital communicator who is committed to MCM’s purpose and passionate about using content to create positive social impact.
About you
We are looking for someone who can:
Create engaging and creative digital content including social posts, video, blogs and stories that connect with audiences
Coordinate social media activity including scheduling, community management and moderation across multiple platforms
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop compelling content opportunities across the organisation
Monitor digital performance using analytics tools and contribute ideas to improve engagement and reach
Bring strong organisational skills, initiative and enthusiasm to support campaigns and digital marketing activities.

Essential:
1–2 years’ experience in digital marketing, social media or content coordination (graduates with relevant qualifications encouraged to apply)
Experience creating engaging digital content across social media platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce compelling content
