If you’re passionate about challenging the status quo and making a meaningful impact in the financial advice industry, we’d love to meet you!
But first, our values

Brilliance - Humility is the skill we’re most proud of and possessing a growth mindset is always top of mind. We take ownership in everything we touch; regularly using our unique superpowers to reach a common goal as a team. We succeed and fail as one.
Grit - When challenges arise, we stay laser focused on achieving our mission and finding a way forward, even when it’s hard. We are nimble and maintain a sense of urgency, swiftly adapting to change and overcoming obstacles.
The opportunity
Altruist is entering a transformative phase of growth, and we’re looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to help propel us into our next chapter. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll lead a small but mighty team in establishing Altruist as the category-defining brand in custodial services. You’ll own the end-to-end growth strategy and work in close partnership with Sales, Product Marketing, Content to drive awareness, demand, and new customer acquisition.
Your impact
Build a holistic growth function at Altruist across enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments, driving alignment with sales goals and optimizing for CAC, LTV, and ROI.
Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Content to develop customer segmentation, personas, and positioning, and leverage insights to design and execute demand generation programs that drive high-quality MQLs across paid and organic channels—including SEO/SEM, Meta, Display, Connected TV, LinkedIn, and X.
Own website strategy and performance, driving improvements in traffic, UX, conversion, funnel optimization, and journey mapping through continuous testing and iteration across web and mobile.
Develop and execute the SEO strategy to drive sustained organic growth, improve search visibility, and generate high-quality inbound leads that convert to revenue.
Develop and execute targeted ABM strategies to engage and convert high-value accounts, particularly within the enterprise segment, in close coordination with Sales.
Own marketing attribution, forecasting, and budget optimization in close partnership with Sales, Finance, BI, Product, and Data Science to drive efficient resource allocation, optimize media mix, and ensure full-funnel growth performance.
Define and report on growth metrics (CAC, LTV, ROI, payback), delivering insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders and influencing strategy.
Build and maintain a scalable growth marketing tech stack, including automation, analytics, and workflow tools to support high-velocity execution.
Recruit and develop talent to perform at the highest levels and build out high-velocity growth marketing functions.
What you bring
Experience - 10+ years of experience in growth marketing within B2B financial services, fintech, or SaaS, with a proven ability to drive profitable, scalable growth and establish new categories.
Deep understanding of the full business funnel and the ability to connect marketing decisions to broader financial and business outcomes.
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and owning performance optimization across the full funnel—from acquisition through retention.
A strategic operator’s mindset with strong executive presence—equally comfortable presenting to executive stakeholders and rolling up your sleeves to execute.
A strong analytics background with a passion for experimentation and expertise in attribution modeling.
Expertise managing large performance marketing budgets, with a focus on optimizing CAC, payback, and LTV to maximize ROI.
Education - Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, etc.

Ownership - The pride you put into every aspect of your work is unparalleled and undeniable.
Superb communication - Intentional dialogue is a superpower. You listen as well as you share your perspective with others.
Resilience - We’re inspired by your unwavering determination to achieve success, no matter the adversity you face along the way.
Assurance - Your confidence is brilliant, yet ego-less. You possess a strong knowledge base, the ability to discover the unknown, and are open to differing perspectives.
Creative problem solving - Identifying the problem is simply not enough. You’re instinctually creative with your approach in finding solutions to roadblocks.
