Job Responsibility
• EMS Strategic Analyst will work with Systems and Software EMS Operations Managers on data collection, reports generation, and coordination activities associated with Contract Electronics Manufacturing relationship and production.
• Work with EMS Operations Managers to Maintain relationships with all key EMS suppliers of the assigned products and/or services for the Systems and Software teams.
• Additional responsibilities include:
• Work with EMS Operations Managers to Create, and Track cost reduction projects and targets at each of our key EMS suppliers in Asia.
• Continually develop and implement Supply Chain strategies in order to exceed Supply Management business objectives relating to, but not restricted to, cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Support supplier consolidation initiatives through the identification of “best cost” suppliers in best cost countries and the migration of spend to such suppliers. Leverage the supplier development process, from identification of secondary sources, through process capability audits and product qualification.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with EMS suppliers, establishing performance metrics/reporting (cost, delivery, lead-time, quality) to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure new product introduction occurs in a timely manner and meets all business objectives through coordination with appropriate functions to ensure business, commercial and technology requirements are met or exceeded.
• Report on key performance measures, take appropriate action and work with EMS Operations Managers to resolve when performance is below established targets.
• Feed data analysis into S&OP process (forecast requirements, material and capacity constraints).
• Ensure compliance to ethical, regulatory and compliance regulations
• Work with EMS partners to Plan and Manage the inbound material supply line so as to achieve Supply Chain objectives for quality, delivery, cost and flexibility.
• Work with EMS Operations Managers to Identify and Implement process improvements within the planning/procurement process.
• Ensure compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed.
Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience in strategic procurement within a technology driven company, preferably within electronics or contract electronics manufacturing
• Degree in relevant subject to role and/or relevant post graduate professional qualification or suitable work experience
• Excellent Data Analytical skills, preferably with experience using MS Power BI Reporting tool
• Experience with MS Teams / Sharepoint, and/or other Data Repository systems
• Additional requirements include:

• Able to develop tools and guidelines
• Proficient PC Office Applications, Familiar with systematic management tools (e.g. QFD)
• Self-motivated, good project and resource management skills
• Ability to adapt to change
• Willing to travel, regionally and globally
